Acknowledged innovator and leading player in the Internet of Things domain, the Company offers a compelling portfolio of platforms delivering consolidated technological excellence for any kind of Smart City and IoT projects.   Paradox Engineering to support its growth path is looking for a:   SOFTWARE ARCHITECT & DEVELOPER ENGINEER   The candidate will be part of the cloud software team, and he/she will be working on a cross-functional team that is responsible for the backend software development lifecycle, from architecture definition, and design specification to coding, testing, and deployment of integrated software for enterprise IoT platforms.    Main responsibilities - Co-design and lead the architecture of well-tested, scalable, portable, and secure back-end systems - Develop backend software, participate in testing and bug fixing - Be responsible for the quality of the written code - Support DevSecOps pipelines, define and maintain best practices - Participate in promoting and developing new and emerging technologies, proactively looking at innovative solutions - Maintains good relationships with internal and external stakeholders   Qualifications and experiences - University degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline - Experience in software architectures such as distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, data ingestion systems, and data streaming - Experience in relational, columnar, non-relational databases and storage systems - Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (python, java, go, C++) - Aptitude to code quality (Unit tests, TDD) - Knowledge of automating, scaling, and managing deployment of containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) in the public cloud (AWS) - Identify necessary changes to maintain optimal system performances, scalability, and robustness of developed solutions both on the customer's premise and on the company's private cloud service - Knowledge and experience in software engineering methodologies: lifecycle, quality assurance - Knowledge of network engineering   Nice to have - Knowledge of IoT technologies and application protocols such as LWM2M, MQTT, LoRA, TALQ - Knowledge of front-end software development - Fundamental understanding of security knowledge around native applications, web applications, and distributed and database systems - Knowledge of public and private cloud solutions - Knowledge of code releases and deployment principles on-cloud or on-premises infrastructures - Effective communication in English (both written & verbal - including technical documentation)   Required soft skills - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with peers, management, and cross-functional teams - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into technological solutions - Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective - Able to work cross-functionally in dynamic and international environments

Acknowledged innovator and leading player in the Internet of Things domain, the Company offers a compelling portfolio of platforms delivering consolidated technological excellence for any kind of Smart City and IoT projects.     Paradox Engineering to support its growth path is looking for a:     HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER     HW Design Engineer, as part of the HW Team, follows the full product development lifecycle, from the requirements analysis to the design, testing, validation, certification (driven by the applicable regulations) and volume production ramp-up phases.   Main Responsibilities - Contribute to design requirements and technical specification starting from product requirements - Schematics design and PCB layout, following PCB manufacturers and Company's design rules (including components scouting and selection, libraries creation, BOM cost analysis, mechanical constraints evaluation and interaction with mechanical engineer, review of application and normative constraints) - Laboratory test planning (functional, characterization, reliability, and pre-compliancy test plans) and execution - Volume production Test-Bench specification and design, test time evaluation and optimization, – working with software engineers. - Support to the external labs for product certification - Work with FW/SW engineers, to properly specify HW interfaces and support product development phases from bring-up, validation, certification till the application test on field - Returned Material Analysis to identify the failure root cause and potential design/test improvements   Qualifications and experiences - University Master Degree in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent discipline - 5+ years of proven working experience in relevant engineering environment - Electronic circuits design, components selection, schematics, and layout; - Digital embedded design (microcontroller, peripherals, communication interfaces) - Analogue signals conversion (ADC/DAC) - RF (Sub-GHz, LTE) and mixed signal design - Low power hardware design - Design for testability and manufacturability, DFMEA and MTBF design driven - Use of Altium Designer (schematic + PCB), PSpice, and/or similar CAE and CAD Tools - Signal Integrity, electromagnetic interference, and compatibility issues management - Use of the main laboratory electronic instrumentations (power supply, oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, signal generator, climatic chamber) - Testing and validation (up to industrial certification) of low power, RF, mixed signal, embedded systems - Knowledge of automated PCBA validation test techniques (LabView) - Knowledge of FPGA and HDL programming languages - Knowledge of firmware programming (C/C++) as plus - Proficient in English   Nice to have - Use of RF simulation tools like ANSYS HFSS, Genesys and similar   Required Soft Skills - Teamwork oriented, proven problem-solving attitudes and ability to manage pressure - Flexible, able to prioritise activities and managing time efficiently, meeting the deadlines - Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective - Able to work cross-functionally in dynamic and international environments

You will work with a team of security professionals to identify vulnerabilities and implement strategies to mitigate cyber threats. Starting from the current state and system architecture, he/she will also contribute to advance the security policies, identify gaps, and partner with development and quality assurance teams to define, implement and promote cybersecurity design principles, policies, and culture, considering both specific products and solutions as a whole.   Main responsibilities - Conduct security assessments (VA/PT) to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems and networks - Security by Design: design security solutions to protect Products/Systems against cyber threats evaluating business requirements and security requirements using a risk-based approach - Coaching and awareness and evangelization on cybersecurity - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new projects and technologies - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks   Qualifications and experiences - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related fields - 1+ years of experience in Cyber Security or a related field - Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices - Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing tools - Expertise in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark - Knowledge of OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, OSSTMM methodology, PTES standard, etc. - Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, and their command line interfaces - Effective communication in English (both written & verbal - including technical documentation)   Nice to have - Understanding of network protocols and architecture - Certification like CEH, OSCP - Knowledge in programming languages (C/C++, js, python, sql, others)   Soft Skills required - Flexible, able to prioritize activities and manage time efficiently, meeting the deadlines - Problem-solving approach and ability to manage pressure - Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective - Able to work cross-functionally in dynamic and international environments
