A recognized innovator and leading player on the Internet of Things industry, the company offers a compelling portfolio of platforms that deliver proven technological excellence for any type of Smart City and IoT project.    Paradox Engineering also represents the Cybersecurity Competence Center of MinebeaMitsumi and is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security strategy and operations for the cyber defence of the MinebeaMitsumi Group companies.    Based in Novazzano, Switzerland, to support the development of cyber security services, Paradox Engineering is looking for a:   CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER (SOC)   As a Cyber Security Engineer part of Security Operations Center (SOC), the candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security threats to our organization's networks, systems, and data. He/she will work with a team of security professionals to identify and respond to security incidents. Starting from the current state and system architecture, the candidate will also contribute to advance the security policies, identify gaps, and partner with development and quality assurance teams to define, implement and promote cybersecurity design principles, policies, and culture, considering both specific products and solutions as a whole.   Main responsibilities - Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security incidents - Analyze security alerts and determine the appropriate response - Conduct incident investigations and document findings - Develop and maintain security policies and procedures - Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks   Qualifications and experiences - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related fields - 2+ years of experience in Cyber Security or a related field - Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices (NIST. ENISA, etc..) - Experience with security technologies (such as firewalls, IDS/IPS , EDR, WAF) - Good understanding of network protocols and architecture - Proven experience ISO/OSI stack communication model (protocol, routing, filtering) - Knowledge of NIST standards, ENISA guidelines, etc. - Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal - including technical documentation)   Nice to have - Certifications in network or cybersecurity fields (CCNA, GIAC, etc.) - Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools - System administration experience (Windows and/or Unix-like systems) - Knowledge of computer forensic techniques - Knowledge in programming languages (C/C++, js, python, others)   Soft Skills required - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Flexible, able to prioritize activities and manage time efficiently, meeting the deadlines - Ability to conjugate the product with the process and the solution perspective - Able to work cross-functionally in dynamic and international environments
